Item Description -
This unit is not complete. Missing tail stabilizer carbon and steel tubes, ESC plug and LED extension harness. Unit has been bench tested and the LED board and right aileron servo are bad. All other electronics are good. There are minor cosmetics to fuselage and wing foam. Overall, this unit is in a good looking, used condition. This units box has been marked “NW” to signify that unit does NOT come with a manufacturer's warranty. Thank you for your interest.

Hollow-core EPO construction with composite reinforcement results in a lightweight yet strong airframe that offers the same flying weight as the original Timber X – even with the added LED lights. That also makes it capable of handling extreme aerobatic maneuvers while keeping the wing loading low for impressive Short Takeoff and Landing (STOL) and slow flight performance. It's also equipped with high-torque, metal-geared servos plus the shock-absorbing landing gear of the original model so you can fly as aggressively as you want from almost any surface. You can even install the included leading edge slats for improved slow flight performance, or the optional floats (sold separately) so you can fly from water all day AND all night too!

The Night Timber
®
X 1.2m features a wing design with a shortened span plus much larger ailerons and flaps, along with an enlarged elevator and rudder, compared to the original Timber 1.5m. Double-beveled hinge lines make it possible to deflect every control surface, including the flaps that can travel in both directions, to high angles for outstanding control and eXtreme 3D aerobatic capability. Pockets in the rear of the fuselage and the included optional-use steel stabilizer joiner give you additional options to fine-tune the model's performance for even wilder 3D setups – or on low rates the controls can be as smooth and docile as they are on the original so you can fly as mild or as wild as you'd like!

STOL (Short Takeoff and Landing) Capable
The wing design has a shorter span yet almost as much wing area as the original Timber

These features, along with the lightweight design, oversized flaps and high-power brushless power system, make it possible to spring into the air or float down to land in as little as two feet or less.

1.5m model can use the float set that came with it on the Night Timber X 1.2m, or the EDO-style floats are also available separately (EFL5261) and include the required mounting struts plus a dual-rudder steering system for excellent handling and easy takeoffs and landings on water.
