    Description

    Vintage RC Model Airplane Kit (Top Flight P-40 Red Box).
    You are bidding on a vintage Top Flight Red Box P-40 Warhawk unassembled, unstarted model airplane kit. The kit Number is RC17.  To advise, after an inspection,
    I have found this model to be missing two parts that I can tell.
    It appears to be missing the forward most portion of the lower engine cowl, (see plan image) this cowl is still available from Fiberglass Specialties for around .00 USD. It is also missing one balsa shaped wing tip, easy enough to make from a balsa block (See Block Image). The plans are in poor condition, yellowed and torn.  The remainder of the kit appears intact to the best of my knowledge with the box and contents in good condition.
    I am
    selling this kit as is, however, I believe this kit to be absolutely a buildable kit and is not junk by any means.
